When I talk careers with people, they often say to me, "You must love your career, that's pretty cool stuff!" My usual reply to that is, "How many people do you know who have a career that they can also enjoy for fun on their own time?"

That's just how I view my career. Fun and challenging. I have a passion for what I do.

me, my background, and how i got to where i am today...

Let me introduce myself. I am Frank DeBlasi. Web and digital media professional, and entrepreneur.

My area of expertise is in designing, building, marketing and managing websites and web projects. I have been doing so for over 10 years, and have had my work featured nationwide on Fox News.

After experimenting for a few years in architectural design in the early 1990's, I decided I needed something more exciting and "colorful" if you will. After throwing in the towel with the blueprints, I ventured into desktop publishing. It was there where I applied my natural talent for art and visual communication, and my digital media skills were born. As much as I enjoyed desktop publishing, I wanted something more.

In the late 1990s I began to work as a freelancer for a staffing agency, gaining a lot of my experience working for different companies on various projects and assignments. My experiences ranged from building websites, assembling story boards for television commercials, designing interactive kiosks for trade show exhibits, and more. I picked up a lot of skills and knowledge in a lot of areas during this time. It gave me a well-rounded sense of how things are done in the digital media field.

After venturing into these areas of interactive media, I set out to make the web my primary career path of choice.
